I want to introduce you to some new creative friends! I found an amazing group of women over at Smeared and Smudged! The group has been growing so fast we wanted to do something special on our blog and then send you to see fantastic art of all shapes and sizes at their various blogs.
I have been working on a bunch of projects this week that I wanted to put up for the blog hop, but things got so crazy here I didn't finish them and I hate putting up 1/2 finished projects. I do want to share this digital layout I created using Kiki Halbert's Retro Jungle kit. I just love the barbed wire and the glitter!
Digital stamps and papers are great--no mess! LOL If you look at my previous blogs you will see some other fun projects I have created since finding Smeared and Smudged.

Really cool! I could never tackle digi scrappin'! You did an awesome job! I love the "glitter" behind the "A." Thanks for joining us on the hop!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast, and how the elements all bring the eye's focus to the picture inside the gear. The contrast of the hard angles, rusted shapes, vs. her picture all make her pop out of the background.
ReplyDelete(Disclaimer: Yes, I'm biased, as she's my wife and the picture is of our daughter, but I still know good art when I see it!)
WOW! I can hardly believe this is digital. The colors you used are FABULOUS. Love the glitter initial!
ReplyDeletetalk about making a person want to try digital. This is fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteDigital is much easier than you may think. All you need is a good program (I use Photoshop, my BFF uses Paint Shop Pro).
ReplyDeleteWow, this so doesn't even look digital, it's so detailed and texturized! Awesome! And I agree with your DH Jason, even though the elements are fabo, my eye was drawn right to the pic! And that's the whole point, right? Seriously considering the whole scrapbooking thing now that all you S&S people are inspiring me :)
ReplyDeletewhat an excellent way to focus in on the pic! Beautiful colors and great groupings. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteDigital stuff is outta my reach but i can dream.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic...can not believe that all those elements are not real... wonderful stuff.

ReplyDeleteAwww thanks. I would be happy to help anyone with digi scrapping and adding digital stamps and brushes. Tons of great sites.
ReplyDeleteFabulous layout! I haven't tried digi scrapping, but I love the look.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe this--it is awesome! I love the glitter but the metal pieces really stand out! I can't believe they're not real! Awesome look from digital! Very creative!
